From a tiny kitchen on Live Oak Street to a Dallas landmark — here are the milestones that shaped who we are today.

2009

The First Slice

Marco Rossi opens Pizza inn on Live Oak Street with a 12-table dining room, one wood-fired oven, and a menu of six classic pizzas. The line outside on opening night stretches around the block.

2012

Dallas Best Pizza Award

Pizza inn is named "Best Pizza in Dallas" by Dallas Observer readers for the first time. The recognition brings citywide attention and inspires a full kitchen expansion to meet growing demand.

2015

Catering & Events Launch

We launch our catering and private events service, bringing handcrafted pizza to weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Demand exceeds all expectations.

2018

Farm-to-Table Commitment

Pizza inn formalizes partnerships with five local Texas farms, sourcing seasonal vegetables, artisan cheeses, and free-range meats. Our plant-based and gluten-sensitive menu options debut to rave reviews.

2021

Online Ordering Goes Live
